ECUMENICAL CHURCH DEVELOPMENT MINISTER

Responsible to: The Local Ecumenical Committee through its Chair. (The Executive Committee of Churches Together in Bedfordshire will exercise general oversight of the project).

The HMP Coldingley is looking for a Free Church Chaplain to fill their vacancy.

The applicant should be either an ordained Minister/Deacon or a fully accredited Local Preacher/Lay Reader.
The post is for four hours per week and is sessionally paid.
The prison is a Category 'C' mail establishment.

Supporting the offender from the inside out

You will lead, develop and sustain the work of mentoring people who are to be released from prison into Sussex. Key tasks are to manage the Volunteer Co-ordinator, manage the resources of the charity, manage relationships with funders including Big Lottery, find and negotiate new partnerships.
