Is God Calling you?

Anyone who wants to explore the possibility that God may be calling them to the ordained ministry as either a deacon or a presbyter should discuss this with their Superintendent Minister.

The Guy Chester Centre offers a course called “What Next” for those who are in the early stages of thinking about a possible call to either ordained or lay ministries. This is a one year course that starts in September. The current cost is £1200 for 10 weekend residential sessions. Those who attend are expected to meet 1/3 of the cost and the District and Circuits will also meet 1/3 of the cost each. For more information contact the District Training Officer. The District Candidates’ Secretary, Rev Tony Graff, is available to offer advice to Superintendents and candidates about any matter concerning the candidating process. As soon as you have registered an interest in Candidating for ordained ministry on the Connexional Website you should also contact the District Candidates Secretary who will put you in touch with a mentor who will support you in the process of preparing a Candidating Portfolio.
